Bridwell was designated for assignment by the Yankees on Monday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.
Bridwell's tenure on the Yankees' 40-man roster was short-lived, as he'd only been claimed off waivers in late November. He'll make way on the roster for J.A. Happ, whose contract was finalized Monday.
