The Yankees promoted Gerber from Double-A Hartford to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Conor Foley of YES Network reports.
Across 13 appearances in Double-A this season, Gerber has a 1.65 ERA and 1.24 WHIP over 16.1 innings. The 27-year-old last saw action in the majors in 2020 with Seattle.
