Urshela (ankle) will start Game 1 of the ALDS against the Twins on Friday, batting ninth and playing third base.
Urshela emerged from obscurity to become a key member of the Yankees' lineup this year, hitting .314/.355/.534 over 132 games. He suffered a sprained ankle in the final game of the regular season but won't wind up missing any further action.
