Stanton was 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in Thursday's loss to the White Sox.
Stanton gave the Yankees an 8-7 lead when he took Liam Hendriks deep to left field in the top of the ninth inning. It was the 18th home run of the season for Stanton, who had entered the night with just one extra-base hit in his previous six contests. After appearing in only 41 games over the last two years, combined, Stanton has played in 94 this season, slashing .259/.359/.452 in 398 plate appearances.
