LeMahieu is an option off the bench for Thursday's game against the Nationals, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.
Although LeMahieu was held out of the starting lineup Thursday, manager Aaron Boone said that he was very close to entering the lineup and will be an option off the bench. LeMahieu will face live pitching Friday to get more at-bats and could enter the starting lineup for Saturday's contest.
