Manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that Clarke underwent testing on his right biceps and is "in a pretty good spot," Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander was warming up to enter Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks until he experienced some biceps soreness, per Hoch, but it appears he's avoided a serious injury. Schmidt is scheduled to play catch Tuesday to help determine his availability.
