Yankees' Austin Slater: Back from injured list

The Yankees activated Slater (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Slater strained his left hamstring shortly after being acquired at the trade deadline but is ready to roll following a brief rehab assignment. He will see some playing time against left-handed pitching.
