The White Sox selected Pham's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday.
The veteran outfielder was acquired from the Phillies for cash considerations Monday and will quickly join the White Sox with MLB rosters expanding to 28 players Tuesday. Pham went 0-for-13 in nine games for the Mets early this season but has spent most of the year with the Phillies at Triple-A, where he posted a .239/.365/.410 slash line with eight homers in 44 contests.
