Meidroth (wrist) will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Reds.
With the discomfort in his sore left wrist having subsided, Meidroth will check back into the starting nine after he had been relegated to a bench role for the White Sox's previous two contests. Meidroth will pick up a start at shortstop for the first time all season while the White Sox's main option at that position, Colson Montgomery, slides over to third base to fill in for a resting Miguel Vargas.
