Vaughn was placed on the 10-day injured list with lower back inflammation Tuesday.
Vaughn hasn't played since Thursday while dealing with what was previously reported to be leg soreness. He's evidently also been dealing with a back issue. The transaction was backdated to Friday, so he'll be eligible to return Monday, which James Fegan of The Athletic reports the White Sox believe is possible.
