Bummer (biceps) threw 20 pitches in a simulated game Saturday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Manager Rick Renteria said that Bummer looked good during his throwing session in Cincinnati on Saturday. Assuming his biceps respond well, Bummer could make his return prior to the end of the regular season as the White Sox gear up for a playoff run.
