Severino was placed on the 7-day injured list Monday due to a left oblique strain, per MiLB's transactions log.
Severino will miss at least the next week while on the mend, though likely longer given the nature of the injury. He was off to a tough start at Triple-A, batting .219 with five RBI and eight runs scored over 20 games.
