Davis was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Davis was demoted along with DaShawn Keirsey to make room for Luke Keaschall and Thomas Hatch. Davis struggled in his lone appearance since being promoted Wednesday, surrendering two runs on one hit while striking out three over two innings.
