Alcala was diagnosed with a bruised right leg after being struck by a batted ball during Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Alcala recorded two outs and allowed one run on one hit and one walk before leaving the game. The 25-year-old should be considered day-to-day until the team updates his status.
