Alexander was recalled by the Tigers on Monday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Alexander hasn't looked great in 31.1 innings for the Tigers this season, posting a 6.03 ERA. He's been a starter in five of his eight appearances, though it's not clear that there's a starting spot available to him this time around.
