Cabrera went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs Saturday against the Royals.
The 38-year-old carried Detroit's offense in this one, stroking a two-run double in the sixth inning and singling home two more in the eighth. He also had another single, giving Cabrera his third three-hit performance of the month. He's having a strong finish to the season, hitting .344 with an .824 OPS in 64 September at-bats.
