Cabrera isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Cabrera was in the lineup for each of the first five games of the regular season and went 4-for-17 with a double, three RBI, a run, two walks and six strikeouts. He'll get a breather while Eric Haase serves as the designated hitter and bats sixth.
