Manning was hit in the knee by a line drive on the final out of the third inning, which spelled an early end to his start. The 23-year-old was pitching well prior to being hit and allowed one run on four hits with four strikeouts and zero walks in three frames. The Tigers are currently leading, but he'll end up with a no-decision since he didn't last the five required innings. It's unclear if the injury will affect his next turn through the rotation.
