Carpenter went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Cubs.
Carpenter returned to the lineup Aug. 13 after being out since late May due to a lumbar spine stress fracture, and he's been on a power surge over the past seven games. The 26-year-old has gone deep four times in that span, giving him 12 home runs in only 57 games this season. Carpenter is sporting a robust .918 OPS, and he should remain a potent fantasy option if he stays on the field.
