Candelario (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Candelario has missed a week due to left shoulder inflammation. It's possible he returns to Detroit when first eligible Friday against Cleveland.
