Martinez exited Thursday's game with a right arm injury, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The star outfielder appeared to injure his right arm when running into the right field wall during Thursday's contest against the Royals. Mike Aviles has taken over in right field for Martinez while Andrew Romine has entered the game in center. With Cameron Maybin (quad) also dealing with an injury, a loss of Martinez for any amount of time would be an extremely unfortunate development for the Tigers' outfield.
