The Tigers will recall Jung from Triple-A Toledo prior to Monday's game versus the Nationals, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
Jung has spent almost all of the 2026 campaign at Toledo, slashing .227/.344/.421 with 22 home runs over 133 contests. The 25-year-old can handle first base, second base and third base, but his playing time in the final week of the regular season will not be assured.
