The Tigers exercised Anderson's $10 million club option for the 2027 season Monday.
Anderson returned to the MLB last winter after spending the previous four years overseas. In his first season with the Tigers, Anderson logged a 3.67 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 114:43 K:BB across 108 innings. He made 11 starts, including nine following the trade deadline departure of Tarik Skubal in August. He might get a chance to earn a spot in the rotation during the spring.
