Perez left Tuesday's game after being hit on the right forearm/wrist by a pitch, the Kansas City Star's Rustin Dodd reports.
According to Dodd, the sound when the ball hit Perez's arm suggests the injury was at least very painful, and could have resulted in a fracture. Terrance Gore came in to pinch run and Perez's status should be updated when the team comments on the nature of the injury.
