Massey was removed from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays due to a head injury.
Massey hit the ground hard after making a leaping throw to first base in the fifth inning and was immediately replaced at second by Tyler Tolbert. The Royals say that Massey is already feeling better, but he may still be evaluated for a concussion as a precaution. If he ends up needing to miss additional time, Tolbert figures to be the next man up for starts at the keystone.
