The Royals recalled Erceg from Triple-A Omaha on Monday.
Erceg was sent down one month ago and logged a 1.74 ERA and 13:3 K:BB over 10.1 frames covering nine appearances with Omaha. The 31-year-old has had a disastrous season with the Royals, posting a 6.23 ERA and 31:29 K:BB over 43.1 innings, but will aim to finish on a high note.
