Witt went 2-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and three runs scored in Wednesday's 10-3 win over the White Sox.
Witt has a strong case to be the AL Player of the Month after batting .489 (44-for-90) with seven home runs, 22 RBI, 26 runs scored and two stolen bases over his last 23 games. He was held hitless just once in July. His fantastic month has him batting .349 on the year, 17 points ahead of Cleveland's Steven Kwan for the best average in the majors. Witt has added a stellar .992 OPS, 19 home runs, 24 steals, 76 RBI, 91 runs scored, 30 doubles and 10 triples across 109 contests this season.
