Rolison (hand) began a rehab assignment at the Rockies' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate Aug. 12 and has covered 6.1 innings between his first two outings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on 10 hits and two walks while striking out nine.
Rolison is on the comeback trail after a fractured left hand kept him out of competitive action for just over nine weeks. He covered four innings in his most recent rehab start Monday, so he may only need one or two more turns in the lower levels of the minors before being activated from Triple-A Albuquerque's 7-day injured list.
