After blowing a one-run lead in the ninth inning, Rockies pitcher John Axford was able to receive a win during Monday's 8-7 win over the Rangers. It was his second blown save this season.
Axford allowed one run to score in the ninth inning when he gave up a double to Adrian Beltre. Axford also walked two batters during the appearance, but he was able to get out of the inning. The Rockies won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning on an RBI by Ben Paulsen.
