Davis was recalled from Double-A Hartford on Friday.
Davis has served exclusively as a starter at Hartford this season, posting a 5.54 ERA, 152:60 K:BB and 1.45 WHIP in 133.1 innings over 26 starts. While his performance wasn't particularly dominant, he'll have a chance to make his major-league debut over the final few weeks of the regular season. It seems likely that the right-hander will be available as a multi-inning option out of the Rockies' bullpen to begin his big-league career.
