Rockies' Chad Smith: Rejoins major-league club

Smith was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Smith had a one-day stint with the Rockies in mid-July and will return to the major-league roster Wednesday. The 27-year-old has given up seven earned runs across 3.1 frames in three appearances for Colorado this year.
