Doyle (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.
Doyle has missed the last month of action with an oblique injury but has progressed enough to play in rehab games. It's unlikely Doyle will be ready to return by this weekend when the Rockies have a brief three-game road trip, but he could be back next week then the club starts another homestand.
