Karcher elected free agency Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Karcher, 26, appeared in only one game at the MLB level in 2023 and registered an ugly 4.77 ERA, 1.87 WHIP and 70:72 K:BB across 60.1 innings of relief with Triple-A Louisville.
