Miley (forearm) has increased his throwing distance off flat ground to 120 feet, MLB.com reports.
Miley, who was placed on the 15-day injured list June 20 due to a left flexor strain, has been working his way through a throwing program. He's expected to throw off a mound in a bullpen session Friday.
