Adleman (oblique) will undergo an MRI on Friday, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
According to Rosecrans, manager Bryan Price did not sound overly optimistic about Adleman's oblique injury that caused him to leave Thursday's start in the fourth inning. Oblique injuries can be tricky for pitchers, so Friday's MRI figures to shed more light on Adleman's prognosis. As of Thursday night, he is believed to be dealing with a strained left oblique.
