Marte had made two consecutive starts at third base for the Reds, but Christian Encarnacion-Strand will get the nod there Tuesday as Elly De La Cruz covers shortstop. Marte, 21, is sitting on an impressive .304/.368/.405 batting line through his first 87 major-league plate appearances.
