Bonilla has been sidelined since Aug. 6 with right elbow inflammation, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
The reason behind Bonilla's placement on the 10-day disabled list earlier this month was initially unclear, but manager Bryan Price recently noted that an MRI revealed the right-hander was nursing an elbow issue. There haven't been any reports that Bonilla has resumed a throwing program, and with just over a month remaining on the season, it's possible we've seen the last of the 27-year-old until next campaign.
