The Reds recalled Aguiar from Triple-A Louisville on Friday.
Aguiar is a good bet to log some innings Friday against the Cubs after Chase Burns, who is in line for an abbreviated start. The 25-year-old holds a 6.27 ERA and 45:29 K:BB over 47.1 innings this season with Louisville. Aguiar has not pitched in the majors since the 2024 campaign.
