Winker took Nabil Crismatt yard in the fifth inning to record his 19th homer of the season. Winker has shown no negative effects since suffering a minor injury Saturday, doubling and homering in two starts since. This performance continued what has been a breakout season for Winker, as he's maintained a .324/.402/.596 line with 48 RBI and 55 runs scored across 311 plate appearances.
