Suarez went 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 17-5 loss to the Cubs.
Suarez jumped on a Kevin Gausman fastball up in the zone for his 20th home run of the season. He's recorded at least 20 homers in 10 of his last 11 seasons with the pandemic-shortened 2020 being the outlier. There were no takers for Suarez, who rejoined he Reds after being placed on outright waivers last week, and he should be with the club through the end of the season.
