De La Cruz (hamstring) is scheduled to return from the IL on Tuesday against the Brewers, Charlie Goldsmith reports.
There was some discussion about De La Cruz returning for the start of the Reds' series against the Brewers on Monday, but that would have required he sit out one of the next two games. But because the Reds are off on Thursday, instead that will be his rest day and he won't have to idle on the Reds bench for a game.
