Arroyo (shoulder) will participate in the Arizona Fall League, MLB.com reports.
Arroyo is starting a game progression at the Reds' spring complex in Goodyear (Ariz.) in advance of his participation in the AFL. The 21-year-old shortstop underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder during spring training.
