Story (sports hernia) could be activated during Boston's series in Miami which begins Monday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
Story, who hasn't played for the Red Sox since May 14, spent the last week on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Worcester, going 4-for-21 over six games for the WooSox. He finished up the assignment by playing two consecutive days in the field, which is typically a tell that a player is on the verge of coming off the injured list. Story is expected to be the primary starter at shortstop, although rest days will be built into his schedule initially.
