Meneses was transferred to Double-A Portland on Monday, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Meneses tried his luck overseas after being released by the Phillies in 2018, but he's back playing for the Red Sox in the minors in 2021. He's spent the majority of the season at Double-A, batting .303 with 10 homers, 43 RBI and 31 runs scored over 50 contests. Meneses has also appeared in 38 games at Triple-A Worcester, hitting .260 with five homers, 27 RBI and 14 runs scored.
