Crochet (shoulder) threw 16 pitches off a mound Friday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
This was the first time Crochet pitched off a mound in over three months. He's next scheduled to throw another mound session Tuesday. The plan is to have Crochet return later this month as a reliever, a role with which he's familiar from his time at the University of Tennessee.
