The Red Sox placed Seigler on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to right wrist inflammation.
Seigler's wrist issue flared up during Saturday's game against the Royals, and further testing led to an IL stint. Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Nick Sogard will be the main depth infield options for Boston while Seigler is on the shelf. In a corresponding move, Willson Contreras (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list.
