Franco (head) will bat second and play shortstop Saturday against the Twins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Franco left Thursday's game with a headache and didn't participate in Friday's contest, but his absence wasn't expected to be a long one. He'll look to continue a hot streak which has seen him hit .327/.392/.558 while striking out in just 7.2 percent of his plate appearances over his last 29 games.
