Wacha (2-4) allowed seven runs on 11 hits and one walk with five strikeouts over five innings, taking the loss in Saturday's 12-0 defeat to the Twins.
Max Kepler greeted Wacha with a solo shot to start Saturday night that set the tone for the entire outing. The right-hander allowed three more runs in the first inning, and another three Twins came in to score in a third inning that was punctuated by a Luis Arraez two-run homer. He did settle in to retire six of the seven batters he faced in the fourth and fifth innings, but the damage was already done. Wacha has now given up an astounding 30 hits and 18 earned runs in his last 14 innings pitched.
