Chargois will serve as an opener Friday against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Chargois has made two appearances since returning from the injured list Tuesday. He's worked one inning on each occasion, so he should not be expected to pitch deep into the game Friday. Ryan Yarbrough will pick up the bulk of the innings.
