Choi (groin) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Choi recently appeared in two games at extended spring training, and manager Kevin Cash was impressed with the first baseman's progress. He had been on the injured list since June 2 but will return to action after spending just over the minimum amount of time on the shelf. Mike Brosseau was sent down in a corresponding move.
